Osaka Gastronomy.

Recently, I heard that a mixed fruit juice is a hidden Osaka speciality. Today, I confirmed that is true. In front of the exit of Hanshin Umeda station, I found a juice bar where they sell freshly made juice around 140 yen to 220 yen. That's a reasonable price. Osaka is known for its gastronmic culture called "Kui-daore", which means eating obsessively until the end. I think that the charasteristic of Kui-daore is cheap, easy and delicious. Any comments?

Buying wine at Osaka.

A new branch of supermarket "Seijo-ishii" has opened under Hankyu Umeda station. A winebar was equipped and looks quite nice. Surprising was that they sell brandy from Jerez de la Frontera, Spain. The sherry barrels from Jerez are used for Scotch, and the best are those used for making brandy. The Spanish brandy is hard to find in Japan, and I was so happy to buy a bottle of it.

Abenohasi.

The name of the Kintetsu Railway's station adjacent to JR's "Ten-noji" station is "Abeno-hashi". Hashi means bridge in Japanese and I have been wondering where is that bridge in an area without any river. Today, I found the answer. The bridge is just in front of Ten-noji station to the west, and there are railway tracks under the bridge. I have no idea whether there used to be a river beneath it. The station was grounded on 1888, and I confirmed that the bridge in a picture from 1920s. Giving an answer to a question gave rise to new questions.
