This image shows you a small reflection nebula in 5 degrees northeast of eastern star of Orion's belt, Altanik.
The nebula, positioned at a bit lower part in center, has a round shape around an 8.4th magnitude star with a diameter of about 15 arc minutes.
The vdB62 is brightening by reflecting this star's light.
Actually the nebula is only small southern region of a vast dark nebula with a span of over 40 minutes.
The dark nebula is lying in northern part of the Barnard's Loop, vast dark nebulae have distributed in outskirts.
