This image has captured a star field around western Taurus with a medium-ranged telephoto lens. You can recognize the Pleiades at left hand side of image, and the constellation of Aries is lying in right hand side of the image. This field includes an extraordinary dimmed inter-stellar gaseous matter of "The Taurus Molecular Cloud", from which plural stars has been born including the Pleiades. A lump of cloud in center of this image has distributed over 20 degrees, and other part of the cloud is distributed toward Aries in west and Perseus, Auriga in east region. We have to expose long time under good transparency night sky to capture the cloud.
