Sh2-204 / Diffused Nebula, type 5 E R.A. 03h 55m 35.0s (2000.0) Dec. +57° 10' 00" (2000.0) Apparent Size 27' x 7' Real Size 150 light yrs. Magnitude - Distance 13 thousand light yrs. Other IDs LBN 689 This image shows you a dimmed diffused nebula lying around a border between Camelopardalis and Perseus. The nebula has a figure elongated in north south direction, has a width of 7arc minutes and about 27 arc minutes or so in length. Sh2-204 is floating about 13 thousand light years away, emitting reddish light activated by bluish stars with 6th or 7th magnitude in brightness surrounding the nebula. These stars are forming a group called the Cam OB3 association.
