Abell 262 is a medium-scaled galaxy cluster distributed around a border to Triangulum. The cluster contains about 40 member galaxies in span of about 2 degrees. A comparatively large elliptic galaxy of NGC709 has been positioned. The distance to the cluster has been estimated about 200 millions light years, one of principal clusters forming Perseus-Pisces super galaxy cluster.
