This combined image shows you two moments of just before start and right after end of the totality on Aug 21, 2017. The image can show the "Baily's beads" due to the last and first leakage solar light from the lunar edge, the reddish chromosphere, and the prominences risen up from it. In the totality, remarkable three prominences could be recognized in west solar rim. The positions of Baily's beads are corresponding to deep valleys along the lunar edge. It can be seen that their positions are not diametrically opposite.
