Introduction

You will listen to an album, then another album, then another...... All your songs or songs in the selected playlist will be shuffled by album. If you are a user of PlayingAlbums for macOS, you will share its settings for PlayingAlbums for iPhone. You may not want to listen to songs serially of an album with multiple discs. Disc 2 is sometimes completely different from disc 1. You may be bored to listen to songs in even a single disc. Some best albums may not be necessary to listen serially. These detailed settings are available in PlayingAlbums for macOS and can be shared in PlayingAlbums for iPhone. iCloud is required for sharing settings.

The problem of failing to launch PlayingAlbums for iPhone after adding songs to a playlist without adding to the library has been fixed. The setting for "Add Playlist Songs" is no longer required.

Limitations

Advertisements by a third party will be shown.

For old PlayingAlbums for iPhone 1.1 users, notifications for update will be not shown on your iPhone. PlayingAlbums for iOS is different from PlayingAlbums for iPhone. Please delete PlayingAlbums for iPhone 1.1, then download PlayingAlbums for iOS 2.0. Sorry for inconvenience. For old PlayingAlbums for macOS 1.1 users, notification for upgrade will be shown. Please update it.

How to Use

At the launch of the app or sometimes, this app analyzes your music library. It may take a while, if you have a number of songs.

After analyzing, you just select a playlist or "All songs" for choosing songs you want to play. It automatically starts to play music.

A shuffled playlist is shown. You can also jump to a song which you want to listen to.

The app will record the last played song. The app cannot record it when the app goes to the background. It needs to active PlayingAlbums for recording the last played song.
