The soundtrack for the movie, Slab Boys was directed by ex-Cream Jack Bruce. It contains instrumentals composed by him and oldies covers performed by Edwyn Collins, The Proclaimers, Lulu, Pat Kane and Eddi Reader. Eddi sings on four tracks here.

I Rise from Dreams of Time is kind of a hymn sung by the choir. Eddi is a member of the choir. On I Thought of You Last Night, Eddi sings solo and is accompanied on the piano.

True Love is a Cole Porter number which was also covered by Elton John & Kiki Dee in '93. Pat Kane and Eddi sing together accompanied on the piano. Love is Strange starts with the actors from the movie duetting, joined by the choir including Eddi. Eddi's voice is apparent and clear.
