- Cut off a SUS304 6mm rod in the size of 340mm.
- Screw M6 from the end of the rod 55mm long.Use an adjustable and expensive die for screwing because stainless steel is too hard for cheaper dies.
- Vise the rod and bend it like the figure. It is easy to bend by your hand so bend it by fitting to the body line.
- Make a collar A by means of a lathe and put the bended rod through the collar.Weld them by means of a Tig welder except the screwed side.
- Make a clevis like the figure out of an SUS304 flat bar.
- Use a long flat bar and heat it to bend. After bending put a 6mm flat bar between it and vise them.Heat at the end and hammer there to make it square.
- Drill two 6mm holes in the clevis.
- Adjust the length of the rod by fitting it to the body.Cut off excess length.
- Insert the rod into the clevis and weld them by meand of a Mig welder.
- Make a pin as shown in the figure out of a SUS304 rod by means of a lathe. This connects a brake pedal with a brake rod.
