My neighbor is teaching children Kendo on every Sunday morning at gymnasium of an elementary school.

This is a castle shaped museum. Chiba city is next to Yotsukaido city.

佐倉市旧堀田邸・庭園は、最後の佐倉藩主であった堀田正倫が、東京・深川佐賀町から
旧領地である佐倉に住居を移すため整備した屋敷と庭園。明治23年(1890)11月竣工。

Kyu-Hotta-tei(Hotta residence) and Sakura garden
Kyu-Hotta-tei and Sakura garden are a residence and garden built in Meiji era ( 1889 )
by last lord of Sakura feudal clan Masatomo Hotta.
Kyu-Hotta-tei is a wooden house of one story ( partly 2 story ).
The garden consists of various trees , rocks and stone pagodas.
They are designated as Chiba prefecture's scenic beauties.

KOI-NOBORI

毎年近くの下総利根宝船公園に沢山の鯉のぼりが上げられます

very large, cloth carp flags. It is called Koi-nobori in Japanese.
since the carp is regarded as a courageous fish because it swims upstream past waterfalls and many other obstacles.
May 5 is boy's festival. The parents hope that their children grow up strong and healthy.
