Realistic Virtuality (Future/Past) is a site-specific video installation taking place in the historical landmark in Shichinohe, Aomori, Japan. This piece is also a tribute to a sculptor Tohl Narita (1929-2002) came from this area, who was known for his futuristic style, alsoas creater of the 60's famous Japanese SciFi-TV heros such as "Ultraman".

The building is a wooden house and around 300 years old ( burnt down once and reconstructed about 150 years ago ); it was used as a soy souce brewery and shop as well as a residence. I devided this buliding into three sections and each section represents the past, the present and the future of the area.
