Ma'rib is the most famous archaeological site in Yemen, once the capital of Kingdom Saba.
マリブは、隣接するサウジアラビアと国境が定まっていないところもある州で、ベドイン族の地域でもあります。
マリブはイエメンでもっとも考古学上有名な場所で、古代のシバ王国が在ったとされています。
1980年に首都サヌアと結ぶ道路が開通し、サヌアから日帰りが出来るようになりました。
