Windows8でも従来のドライバーが使えるようですが、以下の操作が必要となります。
1. From the Metro Start Screen, open Settings
(move your mouse to the bottom-right-corner of the screen and wait for the pop-out bar to appear, then click the Gear icon).
2. Click ‘Change PC Settings’.
3. Click ‘General’.
4. Scroll down, and click ‘Restart now’ under ‘Advanced startup’.
5. Click ‘Troubleshoot’.
6. Click ‘Advanced Options’
7. Click ‘Startup Settings’
8. Click Restart
9. When Win8 restarts type the number next to \"Disable driver signature enforcement\"
これはドライバーの署名を無効にする設定を行う必要があり、今後問題が生じる可能性が残ります。
AirNavがMSへドライバー署名の申請を行っていないか、検査にパスしていないことが原因かと思います。
ですので、この設定変更はお勧めしません。

データベースをアップデートします。
古いDBは、自動的にバックアップされますが、追加したデータは、上書きされますので、アップデート後、再度追加が必要です。
新しい空港も含まれているそうです。ＲＪＢＥ（神戸）は含まれていませんでしたので、自分で追加します。中部空港の文字化けも変わらず。

さっそくテストしましたが、今のところ良好です。旧データのバックアップも行う工夫をしています。
ＲＪＮＳ（静岡）やＲＪＧＧ（中部国際：英語のつづりがおかしいので修正必要）も含まれています。ＲＪＢＥ（神戸）は含まれていません。
ただし、ルートデータは、日本国内のものは期待できないので、自分で追加が必要です。

グッドニュースです。
しかし、私は、テストした結果、前のデータベースに戻しました。
（皆様もアップデートする前には、必ず前のバージョンのバックアップを行いましょう。）
戻した理由は、中部国際空港、神戸空港などの情報が含まれていませんでした。
また、自分で更新したルートデータは完ぺきに上書きされて消えてしまいます。
また、データが増えて、少しソフトが重く感じます。
アップデートするかは、個人のニーズによりますね。

The crash at shutdown problem seems to be solved, so we are releasing V3.13 Beta which, if no more problems are reported, will later be converted into a final non-beta version. One more time we are not releasing a full installer but just the changed .exe.
クラッシュする問題の修正。フルインストール版ではなくて、ＥＸＥファイルをリプレースするだけ。

- ACARSの連携オンオフに不具合 →たいした問題でないが、次バージョンで解決？
- 一部のフライトで速度表示がおかしい？（未確認情報）→次バージョンでおそらく解決。
