ヒメコブシ Magnolia stellata

関東地方で３月末頃開花する。
Ｍａｇｎｏｌｉａ stellata blooms in the Kanto area at about the end of March.

コブシの花と比べて花びらの数が多く細長いのが特徴。

ひとつの花の寿命は短いが花の数か多いので次々と開花するところが楽しめる。

ハナノキ Acer pycnanthum

These small red flowers belong to the 'flower tree' Acer pycnanthum. 'Flower tree' is a translation of its Japanese name. They appear early in April before the leaves adding a splash of colour to the landscape. Some trees also maintain a red hue of seeds.

日本ではハナノキという俗名で呼ばれていますが、名前に似合わず小さな花です。
関東地方での開花の時期は三月末から四月初旬です。
多くの木の中で数本が開花し実を実らせます。
