The spore size, ornamentation of spore surface and existence of needle crystal in rhizomorph show that this species is identical with Ramaria fennica var. fennica described by E. Shild (Z. Mykol. 61 139-182.1995). However Shild write me that this should be Ramaria testaceo-flava although still identical with the one described in 1995 by him. He wrote that the type collection contained two different species namely R. fennica var. fennica and R. testaceo-flava. |
