And other 12 artists will join as public entry-selection.

The Museum City Project is planning during the MCF2000-period:
"Info-Cafe" : The information space for the MCF 2000, a meeting spot for the artists, our staffs, inhabitants, visitors and many supporters. (draft)
"Art Picnic 2000": workshop program with inhabitants and the artists. (Sep. 23th, sat.)
"Art Cruising": short tour for watching the artworks. (Oct.)
"Opening & Symposium": October 4th, wed. 2000.
"Toumyou (Japanese lantern) Watching": Oct. 7th, sat. 2000. *The local lantern festival around the Hakata area. People can walk around the area and see beautiful lanterns along the passages and in front of the old temples. This event will be organized by the Hakata Machi-Dukuri Kyougikai (Hakata Town Producing Association) et al. MCP has cooperated with the event.

-- and more out-reaching programs with the artists, for example, lectures, performances, and so on.

[theme: art out]
The Museum City Project has presented that fine art and artists have to be with ordinary people and streets; ART should not be only in museums and galleries. ART must go outside.
The MCF 2000 will be the tenth anniversary project for the MCP. We would like to think over our first and original important point of the activities.
