It is already known by the name of "lemon grass" in Japan. With
the Sri Lanka dish, as long as it is not a dish of vegetables, you may
put in this herb together with karapincha. However, since the root of a
sailor has an intense smell, it is not used with Sri Lankan dishes. Since there was craze of Thai's tom yam kung soup dish , everybody can buy lemmon grass at any convenience stores now. It is very strong, and if the root does not freeze , it grows up anywhere. You buy one pot of spring and plant it in the garden , it shall be grown big.
