Please let Fr. Andrew know if you are interested in preparing for the Sacrament of Confirmation.
With everyone coming from different backgrounds, we all know different hymns. Please let Fr Andrew know of any special requests. As long as we can find the music we can play it!
You can download the Lent leaflet here. It includes an Introduction to Lent by Fr Andrew, seasonal prayers, an overview of the stations of the cross, and a tricky wordsearch puzzle.
The AGM was held on 6th Feb 2013. The minutes may be downloaded here.
Church Flowers and Cleaning
YCC continues to provide flowers, normally for the the 1st Sunday of the month, subject to Yamate Sei Ko Kai events and schedule. Contact Noriko Hasegawa if you would donate flowers on a future date.
Since we are a small congregation, YSK do not expect us to join the regular roster for cleaning but we did pledge full support twice a year, at which time please lend your support; many hands make light work and a couple of hours will be much appreciated.
Christ Church has a low-traffic Yahoo Group mostly used for annoucements and discussion of upcoming events.
A portion of the offering collected during services at YCC goes to support the Scholarship Program at Kinkiizi in Uganda.
