Here is a bright green bug we met on the road to Tanzawa-ko on our Fuji trip. Also a huge kamakiri who came and sat on my (gloved) hand on the right. He looked like he (or she) was eyeing up his next meal. |

We found this monster waiting outside our front door one evening when we came home from work (left). We've been very careful when opening the door since then! But he still managed to get in somehow, as you can see from this picture. Not the sort of thing you can catch in a mug - a large bowl or saucepan is definitely required..... |
