The ASim2014 will be held at Higashiyama Campus, Nagoya University. The conference site, Engineering and Science Building (E&S Building) is located in front of Nagoya Daigaku (Nagoya University) Subway Station. It is about 30-minute ride by train from Nagoya or Kanayama Station.

From the subway exit to the conference venue
Find the exit No. 2 or No. 3 of the Nagoya Daigaku (Nagoya University) Subway Station and follow the pink arrows to the E&S building.

Access to Nagoya
Nagoya is connected nationally and internationally by major airlines through Central Japan International Airport, "Chubu Centrair", the closest airport to the conference venue. The airport code of the airport is "NGO". You can find more from the website of Nagoya Convention & Visitors Bureau.
From Chubu Centrair (International Airport, Nagoya)
Take the Meitetsu Line to Kanayama Sta. (30 min.), then transfer to the Subway Meijyo Line to Nagoya Daigaku Sta. (21 min.).
Via Narita International Airport
It is convenient for overseas participants to transit via Narita International Airport (NRT) in Tokyo since there are 6 flights to Central Japan International Airport (Centrair) every day. You can also take JR bullet trains (Shinkansen) from JR Tokyo Station to Nagoya. It takes 50 minutes from Narita International Airport to Tokyo Station and 100 minutes from Tokyo Station to Nagoya Station.
Via Kansai International Airport
If you use flights arriving at the Osaka Kansai International Airport (KIX), JR bullet trains (Shinkansen) is the best way to come to Nagoya. Take the JR Haruka airport shuttle train from Kansai Airport to Shin-Osaka Station (approximately 45 min) and change to the Tokyo-bound Tokaido Shinkansen. It takes approximately 1 hr from Shin-Osaka Station to Nagoya Station.
From JR Nagoya Station
From Nagoya Station, take the Subway Higashiyama Line to Motoyama Sta (15 minutes), then transfer to the Subway Meijo Line to Nagoya Daigaku Sta. Higashiyama Campus is just off the subway exit.
