CORNEAL DERMATOME
( dermoid)

A dermoid is a congenital malposition of the skin and its appendages that can affect the eyelid, the eyeball, or both.
Corneal dermatomas are common congenital lesions of the cornea, in which a thick mass is formed on the cornea and long hair grows from it. This causes the animals to be irritated and uncomfortable, narrowing their eyes and rubbing.

■Treatment
Please note that the only way to remove it is through surgery, and if it is not completely removed, the hair follicles may regenerate.
