I visited Kathmandu in Nepal to attend the Society for Conservation Biology Asia Section 1st Regional Conference. Kathmandu is an old city, and there are many old Buddhist temples and Hindu temples. I also visited Royal Chitwan National Park which is located in Terai Arc region (southern lower part of Nepal) as an excursion of the conference, and I enjoyed an elephant ride and wildlife watching. Totally, I watched 116 species of birds during staying in Nepal (birds list).
