Mt. Kasuga-yama, Nara( 21, Sep., 2001)

I went natural forest of Mt. Kasuga-yama, and Nara Park in Nara Pref with students in the environment plannning course. We observed plants and deer. This forest is consist by Castanopsis cuspidata, Qurcus gilva, Podocarpus nagi etc of old growth. Because it became rainey and dark in the afternoon, I could watch few birds.
