Koishikawa Kourakuen Gardens, Tokyo(31, October, 2005)
Koishikawa Kourakuen Gardens was build from 1629 by Mito Tokugawa Family. The style of this garden is Chisen-Kaiyu-shiki garden. This garden is consisted from various reduced-scale landscape in Japan (eg. Togestu-kyo Brige, Kiyomizu Temple, Tsuten-kyo Bridge in Tofuku-ji Temple, The Kiso River etc) and China (eg. Lake Saiko) and also from paddy fields. Water for this garden is from Kanda Josui Canal. Vegetation of this garden is mainly consisted from large Castanopsis sieboldii trees and Ulmaceae trees.
