Hirao-dai, Fukuoka pref.,Kyushu(26, June, 2003)
An academic conference was held in Kitakyoshu. After this, four friends and I went Hirao dai where is famous for its karst topography. When we arrived there, a thick mist was lying.
Firstly, we visited Hiraodai Nature Observation Center, and obained a map and informations around Hiraodai.
Secondly we went to Senbutsu Shonyudo (stalactite grotto). We walked into the cave in a shallow cold water stream.
After this, we walked watching plants and birds in grass land and small woods around Hiraodai.
