新しいシステムになってからの平成１１年度ではたくさん学校との交流が可能となり
ましたが、週１あるか否かの選択ではパソコンルームになかなか入ることができませ
んでした。 
　相手校は主に欧米文化圏のElementary_shoolです。一度平成９年度の生徒たちがN.
Y.等の同年代の生徒と交流したことがありましたが、Nativeの生の英語はとても難し
く（とくに若者英語）、こちらの英語力では対等な会話が成立しないことが判明しま
した（学校にいるAETですらも理解できないスラングが頻繁に使われました）。アジ
ア圏との交流も考えているのですが、なかなかPartnerが見つかりません。Internet
技術の普及との兼ね合いがあるようで一般的にはやはり欧米の小学生が適切であると
判断します。

Waz up! Not to here , My name is Alan Colunga I am 15, hispanic and my  
favirote color is Blue, I hate black and red, what is the color that you 
like alot. So is it a lot of fun over in Japan? Well I think it is pretty 
cool over here in H-Town [ Houston Texas] , because of all the thing we do 
down here. For example I like to play baseball, football, and basketball. I 
also have alot of hobbies, I like to build model cars and make them into  
Lowriders,I all so build lowrider bikes.  Like right now I am fixing up a 26
in.  and as of right now it is being sanded and painted. 
 
平成９年に送られてくる英語は中学生（相手はだいたい日本の中学２、３年）には本
当に難しく、教員や大人の力を借りてでも理解に苦しむものが数多くありました。
