Hi, we are Gerrit Slembrouck and Nobuko Ezoe, with our 30th wedding anniversary coming up in 2022.
I am a
Language Consultant and my wife is a
retired
CG/DTP Editor. I was born in Antwerp, grew up in Belgium and carry Danish nationality. My wife, also called Nongkie with her nickname, was born in Tokyo. Originally
her family is from Saga, Kyushu the most southern of the four main Islands in Japan. We first met in Tokyo in 1974. She has written and published a number of
Children Books. I like to write
annual newsletters
We live in Fussa west of Tokyo, where we are the proud owners of
a condominium. Have a look from the air !
Mount Fuji can be seen from our balcony on clear winter days. We enjoy
Cherry Blossom Viewing along the Banks of Tama river every year at the end of March, beginning April.
The Tamagawa Josui canal flows just 20 m from
our home. I love to go
cycling in my neighborhood, along the Tama river and into the mountains whenever time and weather allows.
Over the years photo-sharing websites have made it easier to show
our albums.
Occasionally I access friends' websites and get updates on the developments in their lives.
I joined social networks like Facebook; Windows Live; Linkedin and EveryTrail. My
wife received her 10.000th comment on her MIXI blog in 2009.
We are seasoned travelers with a trying-to-keep-up view of our world as it accelerates information technology and opens opportunities today for a future like 'Imagine' tomorrow.
