The longest
cycling trip I've ever made twice was from Fussa past point
David Cycling, around Lake Okutama and returning by the
way of Kazuma and Itsukaichi. It took 9 hours the first time.
I brought back a 90 cm snake then; Nongkie loves snakes... wild
life? Apart from "Mamushi" snakes I've encountered a ferret or was it
a weasel? I've seen the signs with caution for bears and
boars but haven't
seen any yet. Signs with Gun-hunting prohibited are plenty.
I suppose hunting with bow and arrow is OK... Birds, yes, they
are the ultimate sound of being surrounded by green, green on
the other side of the hill where the grass is greener still...
Usually
I do not cycle more than half days, the round trip to
Hebino Yu (蛇の湯)(Kazuma) took 5 hours and a half however.

A New Road Racing
Bicycle, a total new experience along the roads of old: my July 28 cycling

Autumn 2007 came, a last chance? Morning temperatures
average above 15 C, but in the mountains it gets really chilly.
Especially a distance of 18,4 km downhill (with uphill here
and there) at an average speed of 41,2 km per hour it feels
freezing cold! Autumn outfit is warranted!
