30坪の敷地は半分が室内、 半分がオープンエアーのテラス。 空のてっぺんから西の端まで見渡す。 手作りの店内は柔らかい光と音楽で満たされて。
欲ばらず、とどまらず。 「なんか毎日おもしろい店」を目標に、 ここに来る人達と一緒に作り続けています。
店名のムリウイは、 ジャングルの上に住むお猿の名前。 イベント、ライブ、小劇場、音源制作、ビアガーデン。 楽しいこと、ふつうが特別。
In the lively shopping district of Soshigaya, Setagaya, Muriwui opened in 2002 on the rooftop of an old, square-shaped building.
Half of the 1000-square-foot space is indoors, while the other half is an open-air terrace. From here, you can see the wide sky stretching all the way to the western horizon. The handmade interior is filled with soft light and music.
We try not to want too much, and never to stay still. Our aim is to keep making this “a place where something interesting happens every day,” together with the people who come here.
Muriwui is the name of a monkey said to live above the jungle. Events, live music, small theater, audio production, beer garden. Here, ordinary things become special.
