清冽や　近寄り難き　蘭花かな

Why so pure and cool ? / I feel I can hardly touch you. / My loving orchid flowers !

Den. cuthbertsonii 'Christpher John' AM/AOS *****C. walkeriana v. semi-alba 'Puanami' AM/AOS *****C. trianaei 'Mooreana' FCC/RHS, AM/AOS

　主なものは次の通りです。 The main varieties of orchids I grow are as follows:

・ Paph.は、roths.を中心に armeni., micranthum.

・ Cattleya系は、原種主体です。 Cattleya Alliance; mainly Cattleya species: Ones with good shape and beautiful colors.

・ Lycasteは、新しいものになってしまいます。 Lycaste; New hybrids.

・ Masd.は、花の大きい coccinea が中心です。 最近冷めています。　Recently I don't grow them hard.

・ Disa: 本当に難しいですね。手を焼いています。　It's very difficult to grow it here.

・ Dendro.は、原種のみで、特に cuthbertsonii が気に入っています。最近腕が落ちました。

・ その他 Drac. vampira 'Zorba,'   Onc. papilio, Phragmi.,   Rhyncho,   Vanda などです。

　 専科専属は無く、 feeling に合ったものなら何でも栽培しています。気に入ったものは、成功するまで求め続けます。

現在は、安曇野における Disa の育成に悪戦苦闘中です。

　 I have no special genus. I grow all varieties of orchids which suit my feeling. I won't stop trying to grow  orchid varieties I love, until I succeed.   Now I'm struggling desperately to succeed in growing Disas in Azumino district in Nagano prefecture, Japan.

　学術的研究にはあまり関心は無く、栽培、特に花上げに飽く無き執念を燃やしています。持ち株の大部分については花上げのテクニックは一通りマスターしているつもりですが、気付かないでいることも必ずあるはずです。お導きくださいますようお願い申し上げます。

　I'm not interested in the academic study of orchids, but I'm burning with restless passion for culture, especially for making my orchids bloom.   I believe that I have mastered the blooming mechanisms of most of my collection.

夢は未だ終わらない。　　My dream will never have stopped as long as I live.
