When I fix a catheter (plastic tube used by medical care mainly), I usually ligate knots in spite of being a relief pitcher, but it is easy to melt, and fixation is apt to become weak. I introduce a fixation method not to become loose by slight operation. I used it for more than 20 years, but thought that it was worth announcing it as it did not really appear in a textbook as far as I checked it.

It itself holds a knot, so thread becomes difficult to loosen. The
fault is that it doesn't loosen and when it's pulled so hard by
the case that the location is confirmed before fixing and a soft
tube, an inside cavity is pressed and becomes thin, so it's
important to pull it by the appropriate power.

When it's turned over in this state, I find out that it's fixed.
(It can't be turned over in the actual state.) this knot is same
as the clove hitch used by shipping , is easy and doesn't loosen,
it's how to tie.

It's being loose then and gradually just as it is, so moreover
it's ligated. When it's ligated during 2 loops, it has good reason

Completion. It's usually ligated 3 times on a street. When it's
fixed once as it was above-mentioned, it's difficult to loosen, so
when untiing, the person who cut fixed thread and cut a knot in
the back tends to untie the tissue recently.
