
The extremely wide oblong worship hall of the Ulu Cami (Great Mosque) in Diyarbakir. 
It resembles the Umayyad Mosque of Damascus in space°composition, 
extending a wing 
with two arcades  on the right and left of the central high-ceiling part in front of the Minhrab.  
But the pillars are  square piled ashlars instead of the Roman monolithic columns in Damascus.
