９５.新装パールセンターアーケード

１９９９年。古くなって解体されてしまったパールセンターアーケード。
半年振り位に新しいアーケードが姿を現した。
クリスタルなイメージ。
JR阿佐ヶ谷駅広場に面した入り口部分はドーム型で高さもある。
JR阿佐ヶ谷駅の新しいシンボルとして定着してくれるだろうか。
そう。考えてみればパールは真珠という意味だったのを再認識しました。

95. Refurbished Pearl Shopping Arcade

The Pearl shopping arcade was torn down because of its age. 
A half year later, the new one appeared. 
It gave us a crystal image. 
The entrance portion which faces to the open space of JR Asagaya station forms 
a dome with some height. 
Would it be recognized as a new symbol of the station? 
Actually, I realized that “Pearl” as in the Pearl Shopping Mall means a pearl.
