６５.街角の井戸（１）

手動の汲み上げ式の井戸。
茶色く錆び付いてはいるが現役だ。
捜せばまだまだ残っているもの。
ギコギコ漕いでしばらくすると水が出てくる。
ただし、飲料には適さない。
水道が整備されていなかった頃は
生活用水はすべてこれでまかなっていたのだろう。
阿佐ヶ谷の地下にはまだ豊富な水が存在しているのだ。

65. The Well at the Street Corner (1)

 A well that pumps manually. It's still active though it's in rust.
 As you look for the wells, more of them still remain than we thought.
 Water comes out after pumping for a while. However, it's not good to drink.
 When waterworks weren't serviced, they probably made do with water from will all. 
 Abundant water still exists in the underground in this town.
