６１.北口広場の記念碑

北口広場の中央にはあまり目立たないけれど
JR阿佐ヶ谷駅から早稲田道りまで新設された道路の開通記念碑がある。
新設といっても１５年以上前の話だが
それまでは細い道をむりやりバスが擦れ違うほどの狭さだった。
この道は通称、中杉道りとかけやき道りとか呼ばれるが
正式名称は都道補助１３３号線というらしい。
この石碑や正式名称をどれだけの人が知っているか疑問ではある。

61.A Monument of North Entrance Open Space

Although not very conspicuous, in the center of North　Entrance open space, 
there's an opening-of-traffic monument of a road newly established from 
JR Asagaya station to Waseda Street. Not to say newly established,
 actually over 15 years ago, the
road was so narrow that the buses were running almost touching each other. 
They say that this road's formal name is "Auxiliary Tokyo Municipal Road No.133 Line",
 alias Nakasugi
Street or Zelkova Street.
I wonder how many people know this monument and the formal name.
