５５.丸窓のある館

JR阿佐ヶ谷駅北口近くに大正〜昭和初期に建てられたと思われる洋館風の建物がある。
以前は区役所の出先機関があったが、
今は「リサイクルショップ杉並」として区民の衣料、雑貨のリサイクルセンターになっている。
道に面した外壁だけは新しくペイントされているが側面は昔のまま。
正面の丸窓がオシャレだ。
阿佐ヶ谷周辺にはまだこんな古い建物が残されているんだな。

55. A House with a Round Window

There's a building in the European-style which is considered to have been
built in an early stage of the Taisho Showa era near the north entrance of JR Asagaya.
 Although there was a branch office of the ward public office in it, 
nowadays the building is run as a secondhand center called “Recycling Shop Suginami”,
 which sells used clothes and food to us.
Though the wall facing the sidewalk is newly painted, the other side is left as it was. 
I feel the round window on the front of the building is fancy.
