４３.中庭の想い出

ポスト脇のキリスト教会付属幼稚園。
昔、自分が通っていた頃は
中庭のような広場があったのだけれど、今はもうない。
当時、その中庭に転がっていた石ころを
道を隔てた家に投げ込むいたずらをした。
他の園児と遊ぶより
ひとり夢想に耽る子供だった。
もう、３０年以上前のことだ。
今はもうない中庭のこんな想い出に
ふと、出会ってしまった。

43. Recollections of the Courtyard

The kindergarten is attached to the Christian chruch beside the mailbox.
There once was an open space like a courtyard when I was in kindergarten, 
but now it is gone. 
I threw stones at the house over the streets from the courtyard out of 
mischief in those days. 
I used to be absorbed in a dream alone, rather than playing with other 
kindergartners. It was already over 30 years ago.
Though it is gone now, such recollections of the courtyard suddenly came 
to my mind.
