３５.パールセンターのネコ

パールセンターはどこの街にもありそうなアーケードだけれど
ここのネコは逃げない。
ネコは自分勝手な生き物だけど
夜な夜な集まって
自分の存在を確認する生き物でもある。
人に干渉されるのもやだけど
ひとりは寂しい。
ネコも人もひとりじゃ生きていけない。
阿佐ヶ谷はネコの集会場と同じかもね。

35. Cats of Pearl Shopping Mall

Though Peal Shopping Mall is the common arcade that is likely to be 
in every town, the cats here don't escape.
You know, a cat is a free-living animal, but on the other hand, 
it’s a living thing which gathers at night to check its existence.
I don’t like to be interfered with in my life, 
but I must admit that living alone is lonely.
We and cats can’t live alone. Asagaya may be a big place where such 
“cats” gather.
