２.中杉道り　正午のけやき

初春を過ぎて夏に向かう頃、
阿佐ヶ谷を南北に貫くけやき並木の新緑は
この街の空気を透明にさせる。
穏やかな正午の陽が道に木漏れ日をつくる。
そう、けやきはこの街のシンボルだ。
このけやき並木を挟んで阿佐ヶ谷の東西って
なんとなく風が違うように感じるのも不思議。

2. Midday Zelkova, Nakasugi Avenue

When summer comes through early spring, the fresh green of the row of
Zelkova trees which line Asagaya from north to south
make the air in this town clean.
The calm light of noon casts a shadow on the road.
As you can see, Zelkova are the symbols of this town.
I'm still slightly wondering about the difference
between east and west of these trees.
