Location and concept
The begun but never finished ruin building in the “NEW” center of town. The place is determining as it is a building, which was meant to be a cultural center (for a certain ideology). But the building could not find its designation even in 12 years. The basic idea of our project “spirit searching for its place” - to give back - even if for only one day - to the ruin building its original destination. We are going to put up tents on the top of the ruin (symbolically 'putting a roof on it') and between the unfinished columns of the building ('finishing it' symbolically). We wish to work, create in this environment. The creative work, the performances, the happenings, all these will serve the purpose (ruin building = cultural center).
